Table Mountain

The cable way closes annually between end July and August for maintenance.
V & A Waterfront
The V&A Waterfront is one of Africa’s most visited destinations with 24 million visitors annually. It is situated in the oldest working harbour in the Southern Hemisphere, with the iconic Table Mountain as its backdrop and extensive views of the ocean, city bowl and mountain peaks
A bustling hub of activity and wonderment, the Waterfront offers delicious dining experiences, world-renowned shops, lively street performers, and plenty more to see and do.
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden
The majestic Kirstenbosch Garden is home to an array of flora and fauna, with vast beauty to be found in its perfectly manicured lawns, rockeries, as well as a breath-taking view from the newly installed canopy walk through the trees. In the evenings, bring a picnic and watch your favourite local artists perform on the Kirstenbosch stage.
Wind and Kite Surfing
Thanks to our incredible coastline and infamous wind which locals call “The Cape Doctor” during the summer months of November to April, Cape Town is an idyllic wind and kite surfing/boarding destination for beginners and pros alike! Many professional kite surfers come to Cape Town for several months every year to train as this is home to the most prestigious kite surfing competition in the world, the Red Bull King of the Air.
Durbanville Wine Route
Located just beyond and North of the Cape Town city centre – around a 25-minute drive – the Durbanville Wine Route is perfectly situated on the Mother City’s urban edge. Easily accessible, but still far removed from the hub of the rat race, Durbanville is the perfect place to get lost.
Perhaps known best for its outstanding white wines – you have to sample the Sauvignon Blanc on offer – the valley also produces fantastic red and sparkling wines as well as offering world class cuisine. More recently it has also begun producing some impressive craft beer on a number of farms along the route.
With 13 farms on the route there are plenty of options for those looking to discover the magic of Durbanville.
West Coast National Park
The Cape Wild Flowers are one of the natural wonders of the world.
The arid areas of the Cape West Coast and the semi desert of Namaqualand, transform into a floral wonderland that attracts photographers and sightseers from around the globe.
It all begins around mid-July taking place along South Africa’s magnificent West Coast, which is approximately an hour away from Cape Town’s bustling CBD.
Flower-enthusiasts flock to the National Park during these two months of the year to see carpets upon carpets of brightly coloured and breathtakingly gorgeous flowers as well as an array of other interesting flora and fauna found in the park.
